On the night of the 4th, we went to a place my friend wanted to go to for dinner. She even made a reservation (for 18:00) for us. She's quick to act. The place was on the 39th floor of Ebisu Garden Place. It was a Thai restaurant called Longrain. Apparently, this modern Thai restaurant, popular in Australia, opened in Japan for the first time at the end of August 2017. I felt nostalgic when I got off at Ebisu Station. I wondered how long it had been since I last came to Garden Place. I hadn't been there since 2015. We met up in front of the elevator at Ebisu Garden Place. When we went up to the 39th floor, we saw a view from the window at the end of the street. We approached the restaurant and took a photo. I think it was in the direction of Shibuya and Shinjuku. This is my smartphone. I tried to take a picture by sticking it to the window glass, so it looks clearer.
A smartphone might be better for the night view.
This is the direction where you can see Mt. Fuji, but unfortunately it was a bad day and you couldn't see it.
I tried to take a picture of this direction with my smartphone, but I couldn't get a good picture because it was stuck to the window glass, so I won't upload it.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great.
(Photography permission granted)
They reserved a window seat, so the night view spread out before me.
I was really excited about Tokyo Tower.
This day was lit up to commemorate the Tokyo Marathon, so it was different from usual and I was even happier.
(And the next day, the three of them went to Tokyo Tower for "Nanani")
The meal was a course, so first of all
Sparkling wine for a toast
Menu
Amuse-bouche
Appetizer...
I forgot to take a picture~lol
Fresh spring rolls and other things...
Moreover, I was with my friend
taking pictures of the night view here and there lol
(Amberjack~) I wonder if this counts as an appetizer
With the second glass of wine
Fresh
(Spanish mackerel~)
Meat
(Roasted duck~)
Soft and delicious
Main
(Pad Thai~)
Dessert
The sweet potato tasted delicious
I didn't need to take pictures of the coffee
Everything was delicious and I was very satisfied
At first, there were only a few people, but before I knew it
a lot of people had come in and the restaurant was bustling with conversations, so I thought it was a busy restaurant
The window seat was also closer to Tokyo Tower
so it was easy to take pictures, but if it had been on the other side of the window, it would have been a little
I would have been able to take pictures, but it would have been difficult I thought maybe
My camera was heavy, so I didn't use a telephoto lens
I used a lens kit, but I wanted to take pictures of the night view
I should have brought ninja food after all
I left the restaurant after 9pm
It was nice to be able to enjoy a leisurely meal
I also enjoyed talking with my friend
And before we went down again, we saw the night view
Then, as I was looking at the square, I remembered
This is where Nakai-san was standing in the video of Nonbiri Nakai~
I only come here when the Baccarat chandelier is there, so I thought it must be like this when there's nothing
Needless to say, I've been standing in the same place
It's been used in many dramas
When I see this monument, I remember Hanadan
