June 30th (Summer Purification) is the day to eat Minazuki.

I've written about the reason many times in the past, so I'll skip it.

I ordered it from Kanshundo again this year.

It's a very simple thing, just uiro with red beans on top,

but Kanshundo's Minazuki is so delicious that I've been buying it over and over again for the past few years.

Of course, their other things are delicious too, so I went ahead and got

an all-star selection of monaka, dorayaki, mizu yokan, and warabimochi.

The glass is Baccarat, the coaster is Starbucks,

and the filling is Oi Ocha.

Half the year is over in the blink of an eye.

Today is very humid, humid, super humid again.

Make sure to drink plenty of fluids to get through the hot summer and stay healthy for the second half starting tomorrow.
