Seats
Most 3 wheel double buggies begin life as single pushchairs. However, some can convert to take an additional seat or carrycot with adapters (these are typically more common in tandem buggies). Certain models let you add an additional board for older kids who are ready to walk but require a little help.

Suspension
The quality of the suspension on a triple buggy is crucial to how it will be easy for you and your child to push. A smooth ride is essential as babies can feel every bump in the road, especially if it's in rough terrain such as grass or paths that aren't paved. Certain models come with locking front tires to aid in maneuvering and navigating obstacles like curbs.
Some models use air-filled tyres which will provide a fantastic all-terrain experience, but they can be prone to punctures, therefore, make sure you have spares in the trunk. Some models have gel-filled or foam-filled tyres that are designed to absorb bumps. They can be less likely to puncture, but they could be uncomfortable for your child if they decide to jog.

Folding
A three-wheel double buggy can be folded up in a neat manner for storage. There are options that fold flat and then stand up (as as if they were in a pushchair) as well as ones that pop out to reveal an umbrella-style fold, with an electric brake. The more wheels the buggy is equipped with, in general, the easier it is to maneuver over rough terrain. This is particularly true if your wheels are larger than the average size. You will have more stability and it is less likely that you will have to flip or tip your child.
