It's been a while since I last posted.

I'll let you know what's happened in the meantime.

By the way, my husband is 60! And Hachi is doing well.

Anyway, my husband just turned 60!

(And I completely forgot about his birthday...)

My husband is much younger than my late father when he turned 60.

This past year, my husband has been busy with one thing or another and hasn't been able to go cave diving, which he loves, but he just went out with a bang, saying, "I don't know what time I'll be back."

Until now, he's been preparing cards, but with a little bit of end-of-life in mind,

I'm thinking that from now on I'll spend events with "as many things as possible."

Maybe he just forgot to buy cards?

So tonight, I'm going to have dinner with my husband's family, who are cave diving with me, at a chic Italian restaurant within walking distance.

Well, I'm still a novice compared to the seniors in life, but

when I was tidying up my things, I realized that I was living surrounded by so many things that I thought it was a lie.

In particular, letters and cards received from other people are really important and I'm grateful for them,

and I really want to keep them, but when I'm limited in how much I can carry them,

I have to tearfully get rid of them.

The cards I received from my husband, Valentine's cards, anniversary cards, birthday cards, just that alone are three in a year,

30 in 10 years...

And 30 from me to my husband...

This time, I decided to keep only the things that are absolutely important and let the rest

memorize them in my heart.

The HOSSIE family has entered a new phase since February,

but I'll be uploading articles little by little,

so please come and see them if you like♪

Below is the morning glow at Lake Bacalar (pronounced baccarat in American).

When we visited, there were mostly couples and families from Europe on vacation

relaxing there.

There were no Japanese people, no Alnidas, and not a single Asian person in sight.

The time we spent at Lake Bacalar was so quiet and peaceful

that it was the epitome of a vacation.

It was a dog-friendly hotel, so Hachi seemed to be very relaxed♪
