World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option allows players to boost an item upgrade's gear rating up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded if they're in your inventory and you bring them to the Kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For instance, a perfectly broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons don't really change after an upgrade and therefore aren't worth the effort.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, such as attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons come with a flat rate bonus that increases damage per second. In addition there are many weapons with an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon are present on a unit. This bonus could be more than the damage that an upgrade alone can do.

The cost of upgrading a weapon varies on its rarity and level. For example the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while an upgrade of +3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. While this is generally a good thing, it can have some negative consequences as well. Upgrades can render items unusable, unless you are very lucky.

Items of armor can also be upgraded to boost their performance. For instance, if you have chests or helms this will increase its defense base while gloves and belts improve their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has an option to reroll its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it could change its roll to a lower value.

The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats it will gain upon upgrading, along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a change from a sword with 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining an attack damage of 3. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will be hit three times less, since it is an absolute number.

A weapon can also be rerolled by pressing the green button with arrows that circle in the menu for items. This will roll an item upgrader and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's levels, or connect it to an account's status.

Armor

Adding a few upgrades to your armor can make a huge differences in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets offer massive improvements in the resistance to curses, poison fire, magic, and other. This can make it easier to navigate difficult terrains. In general, the more defense you can offer your character, the greater health you will get from each point. So, it's best to upgrade your armor.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting any of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four Great Fairy Fountains available in the game, and to unlock each fountain, you must complete a side quest that involves the Stable Trotters. Once you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you'll have the option of talking to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the armor upgrade menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. You'll require anything between three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the initial armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade the next one. For example, the Champion Leathers can be upgraded to +5 defense, allowing you to keep pace with a good-sized group of enemies in most cold environments, and the Snowquill Headdress can be upgraded up to +20 defense, giving you enough protection to withstand an entire raid with a few friends.

It's important to note that armor cannot be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll want to focus on upgrading it to gain physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're a Mage. It's also worthwhile to save your armor upgrades for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you'll wear for the final boss battle and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.

By giving the jeweler 10 Twinkling Titanite in Gerudo Town and you will be able to gain some benefits to your armor. In general, you should keep these upgrades for the weapon you'll use to beat the game, such as the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer, but it can be useful to have a few improvements to the chest armor and helmets that allow you to stealth around certain monsters.

Potions

Potions are liquids that when consumed by a player, provide the player with a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five types of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions can be upgraded to improve their level of effectiveness. You can also enhance the effects of certain potions by including glowstone dust and redstone.

Upgrades to your potion require a specific amount XP. This can be earned by crafting them on a crafting table or by placing them in the Alchemist chest. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion as well as the item upgrader mod's Rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI which allows you to select the potions that you want to upgrade and the amount of experience they will give you when upgraded. Upgrades to potions can be made in batches of up to five at a time and the XP they provide will be added to your current XP level.

Once a potion is upgraded, it will not degrade in the event that you take it out again or break the bottle within the container it is stored. You can also change the name of the potion by clicking it in your inventory.

Version 1.7.2 introduced a few modifications to the way potions are used. For instance splash potions now have the duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display for the item upgrader kit). The table for potion can now be crafted with four Wood Planks and two Glass. It can now be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions aren't compatible with cauldrons, unlike Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron, it drains the potion and refills the bottle.

Lastly, there are now lingering potions, which are made with splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to enhance their effects. The table of potions is arranged more like the Java Edition, and new potions were introduced, including potion of leaping, decomposition potion, as well as turtle master potions.

Trinkets

A trinket can be a small, inexpensive ornament or piece jewelry. It may be a reference to a piece of art or a decoration that serves a purpose but is not particularly significant like a trinket. In certain cultures, a trinket is a way to express affection or friendship between family members.

Players can upgrade trinkets as well as weapons, armor, and potions. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be swapped out at will without losing their status.

The upgrade vendors are found in major cities and the capital of each zone, and in some cases, dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrades to trinkets are a cost-effective alternative to purchasing an entirely new one. One can upgrade a trinket for just 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the previous trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.

Trinkets can be re-upgraded once they're not needed, allowing a player to increase their power and value over time. They can be traded among players which makes them a good alternative to gold.

Players should upgrade their most important items first. This means that the Best item upgrade-in slot items for each class are upgraded first then their secondary gear and other pieces of equipment they will not replace in the near future (such as an earring or a cloak). When choosing which items to upgrade, players should take into account the preferred statistics of their class. For instance when Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tankers it is recommended that they upgrade their helm, chest, shoulders, and belt.

Once they have become useless trinkets are able to be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional 1% bonus. Re-upgrading will cause the trinket to be destroyed unless it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades, but still less expensive than buying an entirely new trinket.
