Counter Strike New Revealed

steamcase2.pngAfter months of rumors, Valve has finally revealed Counter Strike new. It's an update for CS:GO that will bring the game onto the Source 2 engine and make some significant visual changes.

It also brings sub-tick server updates and responsive smoke grenades. It's made a lot armchair gamers crazy, but it looks like an upgrade for the average player.

Smokes

Counter Strike New has a huge update that will change the way smokes are used in the game. The new changes are being referred to as responsive smokes and will be a major game changer. Smokes will expand to fill areas and move across the map in a variety of ways. They will also respond to the lighting in the game, making them appear more attractive and realistic. In addition to these new features, smokes will be able to interact with game events, which will open up new tactical possibilities. For example, bullets will cause smoke to temporarily clear sightlines and hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke obstruction.

The most significant change in smokes is that they'll be a more dynamic element of the game. Smokes in previous versions were fixed-shaped objects with a limited ability to move and blocking. But, the smokes are now able to expand to cover the space they're within and block more of the player's vision when they are in the area. This is a major change that will make the game more dynamic and will give both sides the same visibility.

Smokes will also react to the lighting, weapons, and environment in the world space. This will make the smoke feel more realistic and allow players to utilize it in various ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. This will be especially useful in the chaotic matches that are expected to occur on every map.

Smokes are no longer one-way. This was a major problem in CSGO as it allowed players to see the position of their opponent behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO pro, says that the new system is a huge improvement for competitive CS2 and makes it more fair for both teams.

Other minor changes include adjusting smoke particles vertically to reduce the visibility of edges, and updating the spectator's smoke overlay visuals so that they match their camera's position. The expiration time of smokes was updated to match the visuals displayed on screen.

Loadouts

Players of CS:GO can now customize their weapon choice before the start of each match. The updated loadout system lets players to select the weapons that best fit their style of play and team's strategies. The new system adds depth to the game because players must find a balance between firepower and utility.

The CS: GO Update includes a number other enhancements and changes in addition to the brand new loadouts. The buy menu was completely redesigned. The old buy wheel has been replaced by an adjustable grid that displays all the purchase options at once. The grid is filled with five pistols, as well as five "mid-tier weapons" such as submachine gun, shotguns and rifles.

The new system will be simple to use, and will give players greater control over the weapon they choose. It will allow them to choose the weapons that suit their playstyle and team strategy the most, as well being able to experiment with different combinations. It also allows them to test out their skills against other players' loadouts and see how they stack up.

While many players appreciate the flexibility it offers, some have been critical of it for straying from the fundamental premise of Counter-Strike. They have also raised concerns about how it will impact map-specific loadouts and skins for agents dependent on visibility.

Despite these concerns however, it is important to keep in mind that the new loadout system is in its infancy and will go through more thorough testing over the next few months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, therefore it is essential to keep an eye on the site for more details.

In addition to the new CS: GO features, the latest update also includes Workshop Tools, which can be enabled through the game's settings menu and enable community contributors to design weapon finishes, stickers, and maps. The update will also ban players who violate the VAC rules in matches.

The new CS GO update is scheduled to be released later in the summer. For now, players can browse the complete list of features and updates by visiting the official CS: GO website.

Sub-Tick Updates

The world of Counter-Strike is updated by the server in discrete increments of time called ticks. The smallest gap between a tick's time and the mouse click of a player may have an impact on the accuracy of a shot, and Valve is working to make sure that CS: GO is fluid and responsive. A new video shows the biggest improvements to the game, also known as sub tick updates.

Instead of a 64-tick-update each millisecond CS:GO can now use sub-ticks or, as Valve calls them, "micro ticks", kilowatt case snakebite, simply click the following article, to communicate with the servers. Each of these tiny intervals of time will be recorded by the client and transmitted to the server, which will then return the updated game state back to players. The servers will now know the exact moment you fired your shot and jumped, swung, and other inputs.

While a one-minute video is not enough to explain everything the video explains each piece of information sent by the client is accompanied by a time stamp, and that the server will collect all the information from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video it is believed that a CS: GO server will be able to send more than twice the data as a 64-tick servers.

This means that even if the tick rate of the game is increased to 128 Hz, the game will still be able to handle your commands immediately. And it's not solely about increasing the tick rate also, the micro-tick updates will also reduce latency and input lag by ensuring that the server is responding to your actions with no delays or glitches.

Obviously, this is only the beginning of the technical improvements Valve is making to the game. Valve is currently implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the surrounding and is also updating all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures and models. Source 2 tools and features will be used to upgrade all CS cosmetics and weapons.

Maps

The next update for Counter Strike New brings new maps, as well as a few classics that have been updated with facelifts. These updates are currently being tested in a limited-test beta. The first set of maps include upgrade and touchstone maps that won't see major Case snakebite changes to gameplay, whereas others have been fully rebuilt or overhauled with the latest Source 2 tools.

Overpass is one of the maps that has been modified to make use of the new engine's unified light system. The underpass on the map's dark and eerie scene has been flooded with daylight, making the space more spacious and less crowded. In addition smoke grenades are now able to expand dynamically to fill in spaces and interact with the new light.

Italy is a different map that has been revamped. Its texture, lighting, and structure have all been greatly improved. The new version is also more balanced than its predecessor, which was heavily CT-sided. Fans can expect a few more classics, including Aztec and Militia, to be revamped in the future.

These maps won't be added to the map pool for competitive play despite the fact that they are still playable. The exception is Train, which has been removed from Active Duty and will continue to be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet confirmed whether the other maps that were taken will be reintroduced to the pool.

Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. Its update has been criticized as controversial. The news organization has been a vocal critic of Russia's actions in Ukraine and the map takes inspiration from the war-torn city of Donetsk. The map is dubbed de_voyna and includes a number references to the conflict.

In the near future, the developer will be releasing a set Source 2 tools for community map makers to make their own maps. This will include features like improved lighting and character read as well as physical-based rendering that produces realistic textures, materials and reflections. It will also help in the implementation of real-world objects, like windows and doors. The update will be released sometime in the summer.
