Driving License Category A2
The driving licence category A2 permits you to drive motorcycles without a sidecar with an engine power up to 35 kW. The power/weight ratio of the motorbike must not exceed 0.2kW/kg.

Motorcycles and scooters
The second level of motorcycle licence is the driving license category A2. It allows you to drive mopeds and small motorcycles of up to 50cc. This class lets you gradually increase the engine power of your vehicle, and also to dream of larger engines. The test is slightly more difficult than the first category, and you need to attend more theory lessons to prepare.
The category A2 driving licence is valid until you reach the age of 24. It may be used alongside a car driving licence category A1 or as part of a provisional category B driver's licence. If you are over 24 years old a full category B driving license is required to drive motorcycles that exceed 35 kW.
You can get a group A1 driving license at the age of 16 (in Denmark and Malta, 15; in Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia 14). Once you are over the age of 16, you will need to take the A2 category motorbike test. You must pass the test prior to turning 18. After two years, you can move to category A.
After passing the test in the category A2 you can drive a motorcycle with or without a sidecar, and vehicles on three wheels that have a power of up to 35 kW. These vehicles must also have a power/weight ratio of no more than 0.2 kW/kg and cannot be derived from a vehicle that has twice the power of the maximum.
If you have passed a two-part moped or motorcycle test of lower category as of the 1st July 1996 then you can skip the theory test and only take the practical exam. You can ride a smaller moped or scooter that has L plates or you can obtain the new AM licence, which allows you to ride 50cc motorcycles with a top speed of 45mph. The AM licence is valid if you've passed your theory test, and completed nine hours of training at a driving academy.

After passing both tests, you will be issued an application for your driving license. You must present this request to the local authority within three years of passing the practical test.
Once you have passed your driving test, it is possible to begin driving vehicles that fall under the category A2. In some countries, if you have been holding an A1 licence for two years, you do not require a separate driving test to obtain a category A2 licence that permits you to drive motorbikes with up to 35 kW. This allows you to gain experience with smaller two-wheelers before moving to more powerful machines.
If you are a holder of a category A2 driving license you can also ride a tricycle provided it has the capacity of cylinders up to 125cc, and a power output of no more than 11 kW. This category was prior to the A licence. All drivers who received a category A license prior to the 19th January 2013 were able to ride mopeds and keep that right.
Motor vehicles with 5 or more wheels
This category includes power-driven vehicles designed to be used on roads and for the transport of goods or passengers. They must have at minimum two or three wheels that are in contact with the ground as well as a saddle or seat for the driver and passenger and an engine that can produce speeds of 20 miles per hour or more. These vehicles come with brakes and a steering wheel. They can also be steered, and can be driven in reverse. In some cases they have a hood or other covering that can be opened. This term was traditionally used for trucks (vans minivans, minivans, panel, pickups, sport utility vehicles) and buses that can carry 16 or greater passengers. However, a different set of federal requirements governing uniform licensing standards for commercial vehicle drivers uses a slightly different definition that excludes vehicles with gross weight ratings of more than 26,001 pounds.
