WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades provide a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random substat is also added to every upgrade.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that are used to level up weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They are purchased by players from NPCs that sell upgrades to items in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using the help of button, which will show an item upgrader mod's preview at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers.
