Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
For instance, the premium shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as a weapon, armor, or rings. This allows you to swap the item for one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to higher quality. To produce them, you'll need a higher level token to reroll. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is to be rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened they will display a complete description and icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The
item level upgrade will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the
Item upgrader mod's rarity the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the durability of the
item upgrader. It's a great way for players who want to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are many ways to acquire these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and grant the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that particular area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been attained.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be applied and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can place an item to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. In the same way, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show an in-game window that lists the required requirements. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an
item upgrader mod in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
